The story of Cibus Artisan Food begins with Carlos Gnoato, who was born and raised in a family of butchers. As was common in Venezuela back in the day, his parents and grandparents would run their butcher shop out of the first floor of their family home.

As the years pass, Carlos decides to study business administration and eventually takes over the family business. In pursuit of his dreams, Carlos embarks on a journey through Europe including Spain, Germany, and Italy to specialize in sausage production. However, the journey did not end there. He ended up in the United States in 2019 where he began preparing samples for his friends and family to eventually open what we know today as ‘Cibus Artisan Food’.

It was not until July of 2021 that Cibus Artisan Food opened its doors. Carlos began offering the exquisite artisanal products made by hand. These products, unlike other competitors, do not contain artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Without these additives, the customers can taste the true flavor of the products, as they are found in their country of origin. Without a doubt, food can transport you and allow you to travel to different countries.
